Prosecutors claim that Andrew and Tristan Tate were part of a human trafficking operation involving at least six female victims.

Officials also argue that the Tate brothers were forcing these women to produce porn videos and sell them online, according to Reuters.

There are also reports that the Tate brothers were involved in a large-scale money-laundering operation in Romania, although this is largely speculation at this point.

“The four suspects… appear to have created an organized crime group with the purpose of recruiting, housing and exploiting women…

Prosecutors claim that the Tate brothers used a combination of “physical violence and mental coercion” on their female victims, the Daily Mail reported. 

These claims by the prosecutors are surprising, as the Tate brothers have been operating online webcam and OnlyFans businesses for years without any complaints from any of their female employees.

According to Snopes, this is just an internet rumor.

The truth is the Romanian police knew Andrew Tate was in the country, as he had to apply for a visa and go through borders and customs to enter the country.

It appears as though Andrew Tate did NOT see the arrest coming, as he was in his home when the Romanian police found him. In fact, live video shows the officers beating down his front door with battering rams!

 So far, Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan Tate have fully cooperate with the Romanian authorities.

Andrew was originally set to be detained for 24 hours, or until December 30th, 2022. However, the Romanian judge overseeing the case has signed an order to detain the Tate brothers for an additional 30 days.

Andrew Tate’s lawyer Eugen Vidineac immediately appealed the decision, calling it completely unjustified.

Just one day later on December 30th, 2022 a Romanian judge signed an order requiring Andrew Tate to be detained for an additional 30 days, or until the end of January 2023.

The Tate brothers’ judge has vowed to appeal the order, meaning they may be released prior to the 30-day mark. 

According to Reuters, both the U.S. State Department and the Britain Foreign Office stated they are aware of the situation.

And her boyfriend somewhere in Oklahoma calls the American embassy in Romania and said my girlfriend’s been kidnapped.”
